Relative p-adic Hodge theory, II: (φ,Γ)-modules

چکیده
Building on foundations introduced in a previous paper, we give several p-adic analytic descriptions of the categories of étale Zp-local systems and étale Qp-local systems on an affinoid algebra over a finite extension of Qp (or more generally, over the fraction field of the Witt vectors of a perfect field of characteristic p). These include generalizations of Fontaine’s theory of (φ, Γ)-modules, the refinement of Fontaine’s construction introduced by Cherbonnier and Colmez, and a recent description by Fargues and Fontaine in terms of semistable vector bundles on a certain scheme. Our descriptions depend on the embedding of the associated affinoid space into an affine toric variety, but there are natural functoriality maps relating the constructions for different choices of the embedding; these may be used to give analogous descriptions over more general rigid or Berkovich analytic spaces.

New Methods for (φ,γ)-modules
Let p be a prime number. The subject of p-adic Hodge theory concerns the interplay between different objects arising from the cohomology of algebraic varieties over p-adic fields. A good introduction to the subject can be found in the notes of Brinon and Conrad [3]; here, we limit discussion to two proofs which we feel are simpler than their counterparts in the literature. Our original motivati...
متن کاملG-VALUED CRYSTALLINE REPRESENTATIONS WITH MINUSCULE p-ADIC HODGE TYPE
We study G-valued semi-stable Galois deformation rings where G is a reductive group. We develop a theory of Kisin modules with G-structure and use this to identify the connected components of crystalline deformation rings of minuscule p-adic Hodge type with the connected components of moduli of “finite flat models with G-structure.” The main ingredients are a construction in integral p-adic Hod...
متن کاملOn families of phi , Gamma - modules
Berger and Colmez introduced a theory of families of overconvergent étale (φ,Γ)-modules associated to families of p-adic Galois representations over p-adic Banach algebras. However, in contrast with the classical theory of (φ,Γ)-modules, the functor they obtain is not an equivalence of categories. In this paper, we prove that when the base is an affinoid space, every family of (overconvergent) ...
متن کاملRelative p-adic Hodge theory, I: Foundations
We initiate a new approach to relative p-adic Hodge theory based on systematic use of Witt vector constructions and nonarchimedean analytic geometry in the style of Berkovich. In this paper, we give a thorough development of φ-modules over a relative Robba ring associated to a perfect Banach ring of characteristic p, including the relationship between these objects and étale Zp-local systems an...
